What really happens to it ,well some of it is recycled some of it ends up in a landfill and or a land fill in the ocean.Its important that we recycle everything because after what I saw what happens with all the waste I know I am.The water bottles that don't end recycled are left the in the land fill and slowly decay away and the particles are mixed with oxygen cells.Then this creates a deadly water source for us because it can make its way to ponds river and oceans.From where we drink from in our every day life.Also plastic can make its way to a vortex in the middle of the ocean. This is harmful not only to sea animals but also to us.This is because little fish eat broken down plastics and those fish are eaten by squid then the squid is eaten by salmon then the salmon is eaten by us.Also it kills sea animals it can trap and suck in sea birds.
